Can we please get this fixed, or edit the qemu man page on Ubuntu to
document this functionality as broken? It really upset me when I tried
to deploy this, and I ended up recompiling a custom samba package with
those two patches disabled.

As a follow-up to the discussion here, libwrap replaces the old NUT ACL
functionality in the upcoming nut-2.4.0 release. This provides
application-level connection filtering using a fairly well-known ACL
syntax.
