The socket file should sit in /var/run/mysqld and not in /tmp/

We should fix the packages which are looking for the socket file in /tmp then
symlinking the socket file to /tmp.

I am having the same problem using Hardy Heron with all updates available.
There´s only one folder on our company network which is not accessible for me,
unfortunately it´s the most important one. Don´t have this issue using Gutsy

mod_autoindex charset handling. UTF-8 is certainly the reasonable
