yep, i'm doing all the wubi testing on real hardware with the wubi.exe. might
take a while to file a bug report, can't find any of the logs, working with a
user account in windows is such a pain. somebody should tell microsoft about
'sudo' ;)

Tobias, did you install using wubi? Was this on real hardware?
Definitely sounds like a bug -- if possible report using 'ubuntu-bug'
from that machine so we can get the logging info about the install and
your system ;-)

Also, the testcases were updated to reflect the departure of wubi from
the default install cd. Testcase Case ID: wdi-003 still needs confirmed
it has not changed, if someone could have a look while testing and
confirm or update. (Heck, double-checking all of them for sanity is a
good idea)
Thanks
Elvis, good catch. Wubi has the image and exe that must be built, and
that has historically been a co-ordinated process. The URL is fixed now.
The exciting news is this is getting fixed to not be a manual sync-up
this cycle. Fingers crossed,
Nicholas

I received a notification that new build of Wubi is ready for testing but I

Here's an opportunity to test wubi, the windows ubuntu installer. If
you've got a windows partition handy, give it a whirl. We all want our
