It would help if you would actually explain "makes GUI fail". what's
failing? what did you start with? what did you end up with?
Can you boot at all? Can you log in? Can you see panels? If you're
going ask about useful info and file a useful bug, you need to provide
useful detail first and f
I'm gonna reformat in order to fix but how can I get useful information
about the failure for the rest of ubuntu?
