boot wizard which would ask the user which SIM they'd prefer to use for
mobile data. This would only be displayed if the phone detected more
then one inserted SIM.

After a bit of poking at taiebot's system, we discovered the permission
in /var/log are messed up, with syslog being owned by usermetrics:adm
instead of syslog:adm.
According to taiebot, the phone has been continually updated since Oct
2014, and at times, and the channel changed at times as well.

Checking the APN database several of these are not present, so it seems
that the customers simply entered the value for their provider.

displayed allowed data to come up.
