Hello, I recently ported Ubuntu touch to my note 2. It boots fine but I
have no WiFi and GSM connection.
I'm already following the XDA thread by ~drapalyuk. I did not find any
suggestions there. Any pointers to where I should start looking to fix this
would be helpful.

Thanks guys, your emails are very helpful. Appreciate you taking time and
helping folks like me who are unsure how to go ahead.
I will follow Miguel's procedure and once I have the WiFi working, I can
then move it to init.rc as suggested.

extracting the proprietary blobs, had all these questions. Would appreciate
if you can throw any light.

Megharaj, Ubuntu will support all the features in the final release.
What you saw refers to a developer only build. As of now, developers are
working on getting things ready for release. Which includes the work on
features you mentioned.

I can confirm the latest pre-built quantal builds boot to black screen on
my Samsung Note 2. I can connect to my phone using adb, though.
The last time I successfully booted to a GUI was on March 03. I will send
the last_kmesg shortly when I have access to my system.
