[Ubuntu-phone] Akonadi as alternative to EDS.

Hi guys, I have been doing some investigations about alternatives for EDS, and after a quick look at Akonadi it looks a good candidate. But until now the only client library I found for it was KDEPin. And KDEPin has some problems when try to use it apart from KDE (please correct me if I am wrong)
