I have a linker error I don't know how to get rid of:

Oh my! I just updated devel-proposed r226 to r229.
It happened so fast, I could not believe it with my own eyes.
Less than 2 minutes. I recall the boot up time being slower in r100.

The current sample in the ubuntu-sdk api documentation for Qt.formatDate
seems incorrect.
When month letters in Qt.formatDate are lower-case:
text: "Shift Start Date:" + Qt.formatDate(datePicker.date,
"dd-mmm-")
It improperly displays:
31-mmm-2014
The month letters should be upper-case:

I have a 2-column grid. I would have like to take a label and span it
two columns, then follow it with the datepicker which would also span
two columns.
Using qt layouts, I would:
import QtQuick.Layouts 1.1
then within the grid, I would:
Layout.columnSpan: 2
I attempted to do the same on Ubuntu
his,
grid1
id: grid1
grid2
id: grid2
y: grid1.height
grid3
y: grid1.height + grid2.height
That fixed it and gave the desired layout.
