Are you on the stable channel or a different one?
What is the version you are currently on?
Have you tried turning the phone off and on again?
Have you checked your internet connection?

Hi
After last system update (coincidence?) I was able to update the phone
just once. I press Update icon then I just get the spinning gif keeping
running for a while. So it doesn't display neither the update list nor
the "System is updated" notification. Restart the phon doesn't work.

Those video players are not integrated into the hardware video
decoding/rendering backend (media-hub) that makes video playback possible
on an Ubuntu phone. In general, the phone CPUs are not powerful enough to
play the normal 30 fps videos that you're used to seeing.

Hi,
Is there any wiki on how to run X apps like Firefox using xmir?
There are some demos on youtube, but no up to date instruction, at least I
cannot find one.
I would like to explore what is possible today in windowed mode on bigger
screens.
Thanks.

HI
I reproduced this and entered a bug at
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-system-settings/+bug/1528886
It does clear up for me by enabling wifi and/or rebooting but I suspect
this is the issue you are seeing.
Please comment in the bug if you have other symptoms
Cheers
