After the latest apt-get upgrade, I again have a VM that won't boot. Unfortunately, it seems to fail very early during the boot. I can't get a VT, and there are no error messages, just an underscore cursor at the top left. At any rate, if the vmware driver is missing in the PPA, it would be real
