Dear Touch experts,
is there a way to shrink the home partition and increase the root
partition by using fdisk or so?
Since I am now installing some X11 application I am running out of free
disk space on /.
I also do not need so much storage space on /home since I can move my

I have tried to reproduce the issue as described by switching between 3g
and wifi, and have yet to run into the issue at the present moment.

Hi guys,
Thanks for the proposals. But did this fix the problem? Looking at the
code this only check if there is digits on the search string, and if
it has, it will search for phone numbers in additional. Otherwise it
will search only for contacts names.
In theory this should not cause the problem

Actually Ubuntu SDK *does not *disable the UI Designer. This was something
that I brought up in the Malta Sprint and was told that it cannot be
disabled easily by the SDK devs. May be this should be stated clearly in
the documentation on developer.ubuntu.com. The UI designer is ind
One trick I found is to lower the space reserved for the root user.
I'd be really interested in resizing partitions as well!

Hello Simeon,
If you'd read the whole thread, you wouldn't have posted this issue.
The problem is that the current version of Ubuntu doesn't allow read
access to the SD card, unless you specify a rule in the apparmor
file. This rule is not allowed by the Ubuntu

It will be much more practical to connect the phone with bluetooth mouse

Here's what we've done over the last week:

before landing on vivid+overlay.

There is one possible fix, until the reviewers press the freakin' button
"manual review approved".
Just go to Github, download the sourcecode.
Install ubuntu-sdk and open

Edit OSMScout.apparmor and paste the following content:

Hello all,
from my experience with another app: A simple soft link will not work.
However, you can temporary make the root file system writeable and add
an entry in the /etc/fstab which mounts
