Apps will be stopped when in background but can register special trigger
for specific tasks. The executed background tasks will only receive a
limited amount of CPU time and network bandwith:

the intended way to do upgrades on phones is to use the system settings
instead of apt-get. By default the / file system is read only. If you have
some good reason to switch back to apt-get, you can find informations on how

We've noticed a recent change in mako usage in the MP testing pool
(s-jenkins). As a result of longer test suites and a possible increase in
