Hi all,
I miss a torrent client for Ubuntu Touch, and since I use Deluge and it
already has support of ceating external UIs using JSON, I thought it would
be a good place to start.

There are a few BT clients that already have QT interfaces so maybe they would
be a bit easier to modify or port for ubuntu touch.

of course not ruling out deluge but not sure how hard compared to the others it
Also thinking about it, Transmission-QT might be a good choice since it will
probably come default on ubuntu-desktop-qt
then with the convergence you can switch from mobile to desktop (or viceversa)
and still have the same client, folders, downloads, etc.

question, but your statement about the shell NOT supporting rotation did.
Perhaps my question was worded poorly; I was asking whether or not the
shell supported rotation yet, and now I know that it doesn't. Since Ubuntu

Hi,
You are probably right. I just like Deluge more then other clients and use
my devices as thin clients to my MyBook Live, running deluged.
Would make since for me, but of course, its GTK, Transmission is Qt, and so

I think QT5 already has support for both desktop and touch.
Also maybe with the ubuntu-sdk a simple interface can be made quicker and more
ubuntu-touch oriented I believe.
However I haven't had (or currently have) time to dig into any of this so
correct me if am wrong.

Hmm, here's for example How to create Ubuntu Touch application with c++ core:

Apart from deluge you can also try with transmission or QbitTorrent to see
which one is easier for you.
If you want to
