Hello,
I've started porting Ubuntu Touch to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wifi
(codename: p4wifi). This is the first time I've ported something, so I hope
all goes well :) But it's definitely a fun!
I'll add an entry to the devices list in the wiki under the Work in

Hello, I recently ported Ubuntu touch to my note 2. It boots fine but I
have no WiFi and GSM connection.
I'm already following the XDA thread by ~drapalyuk. I did not find any
suggestions there. Any pointers to where I should start looking to fix this
would be helpful.
Thanks.

I managed to get past it - sometimes - by recompiling the android sources
and deploying on top of maguro image.
It still crashes more or less randomly.

Hi Ubuntu Touch people on the mailing list,

The problem: when using adb shell, applications don't receive SIGWINCH
so they don't resize when you resize the terminal window. Also, the
enter key does not work in some places, notably the place in nano
where you type the filename and press enter. I did a lot of research

That should be available in by installing

Hi,
Please keep in mind that we are thinking in the scenario of developers who
doesn't know which module need to load, or hasn't tested it. If the
developer already knows and have tested, probably modify init.rc is a
better solution. Now, since English isn't my mother language, I'm not sure

Thanks guys, your emails are very helpful. Appreciate you taking time and
helping folks like me who are unsure how to go ahead.
I will follow Miguel's procedure and once I have the WiFi working, I can
then move it to init.rc as suggested.
Thanks again.

Good news: I managed to rebuild libc.so with IO_DEBUG defined. That

Please find attached a small patch that will create /data/swapfile on

If you don't want a swapfile, just create an empty /data/swapfile.
Pros:
* The swap file can be removed from the rootfs, which makes that
significantly smaller and faster to flash.

I even run

"insufficient permissions" is local, not on the adb side.
