You can try refreshing the content-hub hooks by running this command:
/usr/lib/*/content-hub/content-hub-peer-hook
(find it for your architecture if that doesn't work straight away)

For .mov files, File Manager shows all applications that have been
registered with Content-Hub as capable of opening "Videos". So it seems for
some reason media-player is not registered there in your system.

Today, when i was planning to see some tutorials on my ubuntu touch
nexus 4 i noticed that when i click on the .mov file the file manager
asked me if i would like to open it with gallery when normally it asks
me if i want to open it with the galary and the media-player.
