Hi,
I'd like to build Ubuntu Touch for Samsung Galaxy Wonder (GT-i8150)

Could I add this device to the table of working-in-progress.
Thanks for answer.

Working in progress would mean you are working on it . If you want
som
s it makes its first appearance (that's what I'll
probably wait on to release my app, since I'm not in a hurry) . Thanks
for the responses :)

that we'll have a package
builder for the phone , but the desktop gets completely forgotten about
(with some non-standard phone packages , that break compatibility with
the desktop or something like that , I'm no expert) .

I'm also a big fan of task automation (Llama) . I guess someone will
make an app like that, but I don't think it's going to be on the phone
by default .

apps are
something that will surely be present in the normal releases . The
current builds are just a visual and component overview of what's coming
in the future .Nevertheless thanks for the feedback !

Petko,
Your idea is compatibile with "QML only" without problems. The only
problem that it will be very hard to design apps like these: 4, 7 and
10 inches each require slightly different solution.

The thing is that app desi

how the language overall fits with my idea , but I hope someone will
pick it up.

as far as I know everyone's pushing QML for writing the full apps , so

There will (I guess soon) be a Terminal app , and as somebody else
pointed out - you can even now use the CLI tools via SSH .

out .

I'm facing the same situation (I want to port my Qt app to Ubuntu Phone)
but I haven't started the actual work yet . I guess it won't be that
hard because the framework is one and the same - Qt.

Pi has such previews) + the ability to
plug in a monitor/mouse keyboard and get a real desktop . (I dream of an
FM transmitter too for the car but that's a whole different story :D )
Sorry for writing such a long email ,I really hope that it'll be in some
