In some of the mockups, it looks like you can see a wallpaper through the
header divider - maybe there's plans for a desktop of some sorts and the
dash is an overlay like on the desktop? Just a wild idea.

Works fine for me on the desktop. I've used in just about every Ubuntu
Touch app I've written, and it has worked every time.

Once again, I'm very sorry if that comment offended you in any way and I
can remove that if Canonical wants.

There are several apps that I know of that have tabs as the first item on the
page stack, including one of the core apps, Clock.

I like option 1 best, but don't know if this is follows the design

What is the recommended design pattern for this? I like the "selection

I solved this partially by using a Timer that would fire every 5 seconds
and save the app's data.
The code I used was:

something similar be included by default?

c. The problem with
individual labels is how would they work when a task with labels is in
multiple categories?
Thanks for all the feedback, it is very much appreciated!

Another feature that would be nice to have is inserting notes into the

In my opinion, an office suite (or at least a text editor) should become
one of the core apps. I wonder if that is possible?

I've only been following the last couple emails, but I do think that
since the page stack is one of the three main na

methods that always work in their corresponding modes, and would be a

r, I think that for
applications that have a header, the back button could nicely integrate
into that. This is the way Android does it, and I find it very easy to
use. Also users coming from Android would find it natural.
