Thank you all, you are quite right - holding for 17s was enough. I
thought I had tried holding the power button for a long time, but
clearly not enough :)

I've had this several times, you have to hold down power until you are
convinced it will never start and keep going, eventually it boots.

Occasionally I've had similar problems with my Pro 5 (initially I
thought the phone was kaput).
Strangely, if I press and hold the power on button for around 20 (yes,
20) seconds it then boots.
So maybe you've not pressed the power-on button for sufficient time

I rebooted my Ubuntu phone earlier today, and it didn't boot up again.
The screen is completely off, and pressing and holding the power button
does nothing. The phone had plenty of charge before I rebooted. Is there
anything I can try to resurrect it?

Yes, it was very annoying until I worked out the simple fix. If you turn
the phone landscape then open the date time indicator again, it reappears.
Just close it again before tilting it back.
It took me ages to work that out. It seems to be being lost when the phone

Where can I file this bug? Thanks

Every phone I've had since at least 2002 has managed it, be it through POP
or IMAP and notifications do work for Gmail, as well as the Open Store
version of Dekko - well sort of. They don't look as good and crash Dekko.
But they do notify.
So I'm not asking for the impossible. If Canonical ha

It works OK. But notifications have never worked, which means manually

Hi,
If I remember well, the channel on which the experiments for the M10 are
ongoing is named "staging". The "devel" channel was REALLY outdated last
time I tried (last image was from 2016-04 pre-xenial-release).
Let us know what you find and how it goes!
Best Regards,
Felipe.

That's sad news. The only, and default, email app is no longer supported on

I think I may have misunderstood the question.
I gather you are referring to the snap device image for M10.
In that case, I do not know.
Everyone is eagerly awaiting any sort of update regarding the move to snaps.

I gather that they should be able to install on the M10.
