I've taken the time to create a bug report for a generic concept of
unified communication. If we had an API that allowed to just plug in
external services into the Ubuntu Touch platform then adding VoIP
telephony and proprietary protocols (Skype, Viber, WhatsApp,Slack,
etc.) would just be plugins!

not do this out of the box, so some new software will have to be written or
included in the image for this bug to be solved.

So as for update deployment it's as Rodney already said. By saying
'update fully deployed' this does not mean 'all users now upgraded to
the new version'. I simply meant by this that the update is now fully
phased and is available for everyone to update. With each release we
do this phased up
