Hello,
I am trying to port the Ubuntu touch to my Moto X 2013. I have setup the
development environment and test compiled one of the supported roms and it
went fine. However, I am encountering the following error when trying to
build the rom after making changes to the build files:

Yes, I had to reinstall, and I did from the new PPA. Still doesn't work,
but then I guess I'm waiting for the update. That was an update for the
phone you mentioned earlier, right? The one that's coming this week?
Thanks!

I won't snitch ;)
If I remove the ppa from my package manager, will it automatically
revert to the original libmtp package? Or do I need to perform
additional steps?
And this is the phablet-tools ppa?:

Hi Christian,
thanks for your fast reply.
Unfortunately, I'm not able to have it working.

Regardless of restarts, I cannot connect with USB to my AquarisE4.5
through my file browser anymore.
First it says:
No such interface 'org.gtk.vfs.Mount' on object at
path /org/gtk/vfs/mount/1.
Then on next attempt:
Unable to open MTP device '[usb:002,003]'.

You can create a hotspot while connected to a WiFi
So "python3 hotspot.py enable" did work for me. Though I can only connect to
mobile data and create the hotspot? (Connecting to Wifi and then creating the
Wifi hotspot won't work, I am assuming)

I noticed last night that the browser doesn't remember the last item viewed
before closing the browser. I was unable to find it this morning when I used
the web browser again. This was on my Nexus 7 2013 with (r2). Can anyone
confirm this as a bug? I didn't find anything about this on Launchpad.

I have a pleasure to announce our System Testing tool for touch devices -
Checkbox-Touch has reached version 1.1.3.
You can get the Click from the Ubuntu Store or from Launchpad [1].
Checkbox-Touch (like other flavours of Checkbox) is a hardware testing
tool. The touch version is designed (but is

One thing I have always wanted were scopes that work against online
services that are *not* online SAAS brands. I want to do scopes that
point at stuff running on my Ubuntu server, like Odoo or OwnCloud or
vtiger or Joomla! or Drupal or whatever. Stuff that doesn't have one

Thanks Michael.
I have been looking at the Gmail scope [1] see see how its works. I can't
get the online accounts to work on the desktop. I've not tried sending the
scope to the phone yet.
Looking forward to some guidance with this.
Thanks,
Dan

Hiya!
The account deletion on click package installation is a new thing (as of
vivid), and I agree, it's really quite difficult. TBH I've just been using
RTM images to test on because of that. As for an example, we have the
soundcloud scope, which uses OA integration. The code can be found here

Hi,
I planned to ask the exact same thing later today as I've been
struggling a bit with that too. I tried using the OnlineAccountsClient
class but couldn't get too far. For some reason all my accounts are
deleted each time I install the click package
I would like to write a scope that uses online accounts.
An example might be Facebook, Google+ or Twitter scope that shows a recent
feed and possibly allows some basic interaction and status posting.
One for each service and an aggregator scope would be Ideal!!

Basically powerd instructs the kernel to wake up by writing the string
