Hi all,
incidentally I published two articles about enabling Developer mode, ADB
and the details of adb shell/phablet-shell today:
http://sturmflut.github.io/ubuntu/touch/2015/05/08/hacking-ubuntu-touch-part-4-developer-mode-and-ADB/
http://sturmflut.github.io/ubuntu/touch/2015/05/08/hacking-ub
Somehow I can not get it working. I typed "android-gadget-service enable rndis"
into the phone's terminal and adb devices shows my phone but there is nothing
popping up in fedora 20 about tethering. (I was assuming it "just works"). I
don't even see a "connection in progress" like [1].

did you unlock the screen ? it will not allow connection attempts while
the screen is locked ...

Hi,
It's the cmake bug. It should run MultiArchCross.cmake[1] at the cached
build, MultiArchCross.cmake locate to the correct qt utils path on cross
build environment.
As Benjamin mentioned, you can delete the build folder or putting the
following rules into your CMakeLists.txt

Hi Stefan, I had a similar problem previously, and found for me it was
linked to syncing the ~/.local/share/evolution folder between devices via
my owncloud server. Drove me nuts until I figured this out...
Are you syncing any files/folders with owncloud, or just your calendar?

Hi,
I sent this problem description already on 17.04.2015, but then I didn't
receive any response.
Since it seems that meanwhile more users sync their Ubuntu phone with
ownCloud, I send my questions again:
I'm using Ubuntu Touch on a Nexus 7 3G (r18) and set up the

Hi list,
is there a way to connect to the internet with the ubuntu phone and afterward
function as a hotspot (let nearby devices connect through the phone to the
internet)?
If not, is there information around whether this is going to be implemented?
Thanks,

Hi Louis, seems odd that it worked the first time, and not the second.
Can you run the commands again, and post your output, starting with the
initiating commands? It's not hard to add a database - you could also
try simply adding 'personal'.
I've posted instructions for contact & calendar syn

You could try
syncevolution --print-databases
It lists all the related databases that were present on my device and
the ones I created manually.

Hello,
from your screenshot I can tell that you have not the most recent SDK
version installed.
What Ubuntu version are you running?
You probably want to enable this ppa (for 14.04 and newer) to get always
the most recent version of the SDK :
