Yea, it's a weird naming thing. I believe AMD made a the first 64bit processor, and the naming kept. Like i386. The 386's are ancient. But they support all processors (non64). All you need to know that i386=32bit and AMD64=64bit. I think this confusion is cleared a little bit if you use http://www
