Where would I find the configuration file to change the order of icons
in the launcher bar, and to change the icons themselves? I can't find
it. Thanks.

Has anyone figured out a way to setup Ad-hoc networking on the Galaxy
Nexus? (I'm assuming it would be similar on any device). I've tried
setting this up via the command line with iwconfig, but so far without
success. Anyone done this yet? I'm aware this feature hasn't been
implemented yet, h
Hi everyone,
I'm having some trouble fixing mount problems and hope someone knows
what's wrong. These are the 3 main issues:
* My device appears to have no UDA, userdata, USERDATA or similar
symlink to the user partition device node in /dev. I only have
/dev/mmcblk0p26 and a symlink "/dev/block/

Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of porting touch to the asus transformer prime tf201.
I've run into a problem though when running the extract-files.sh script to
get the blobs. All files successfully extract but this one:
failed to copy '/system/etc/dbus.conf' to

There are phones that don't show up as mass stora
Thank for this. Like you mentioned though, I look for unlocked devices as I
assume this facilitates trouble-free ubuntu. I've assumed this all along and so
if the device is not unlocked I write it off. And it has proven difficult to
find unlocked devices that are smaller in size. Looking at Goog
The Motorola Droid Mini will be an excellent piece of hardware when it
becomes available for purchase, and is about the size of an iPhone and
manages to cram a bigger screen into that same size body. Whether it is
locked or unlocked will determine how easy it is to run Ubuntu touch on it.
The HTC O
I've decided not to buy the Nexus 4 for numerous reasons (no LTE, too wide,
etc). So I'm looking at what other hardware (if any) options exist for running
Ubuntu-Touch in October. I really, strongly prefer smaller hardware that is
iPhone-5 size, especially a width of about 60mm.
Please do tell

We don't actually know if it will be unlocked. Traditionally, Motorola
phones have been very tightly locked. If it is unlocked, someone will
surely create a port for it. Canonical is only officially supporting Nexus
4, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10, insofar as I'm aware, but they created a tutorial

Will Ubuntu-Touch work on the upcoming Moto X from Google since it will be
unlocked Nexus-like device? Or would it have to be officially ported before
users will have any luck running Ubuntu-Touch on the device?

Hello everybody,
Ubuntu Touch has been ported to LOTS of devices in the meantime. If we
consult our Touch Devices list [1], there are 45 working ports, with 30
more in progress, and across 21 different brands. This is awesome. Now
it’s time to bring all of them into the fold.
