Doesn't the app page (that comes up when you fully swipe from left ro
right) replace the card style app list?
What I would like for the running apps when swiping from right is the
"swipe-choose-swipe on" mechanism that is used for notifications. It just
seems so super fluid for me.

Hello all!
I am unable to resolve the WiFi issue with my N8000 tablet.
In UbuntuTouch I can see the available APs, but after I enter my password,
it fails to connect.

"card style" probably resembles ALT + TAB in the desktop.
So I don't believe is a bad idea.
Anyway the "Apps lens" shows some of the running apps as you can see here:

So I don't know if that might be an equivalent. Would be cool to just "swipe
up" to close them.

I very much agree with this suggestion. Doesn't have to be implement
exactly this way, though I also like the idea of short swipe, long swipe.

I always hoped Ubuntu would have take OpenWebOS code and used it instead of
starting fresh.

thanks. Yes, I can confirm that. Since a few days I noticed qml-phone-shell
taking up 30% - 40% CPU too. Haven't yet seen maliit-server doing that on my
phone.
