Heya,
Just two quick questions...
First of all, I've been thinking for a while about changing REVU's
subtitle from «A Review Tool for MOTUs» to the more descriptive
«Collaborative Ubuntu Packages Reviewing»; if you have better ideas
let me hear, and if you think we shouldn't change it too (this

Hey,
I've finally added support for tagging source packages on REVU. Tags
can be formed by alphanumeric characters and dashes ("-"), and both
Reviewers (ie, MOTUs) and Moderators can change the tags assigned to
source packages. Any name can be used as a tag, but the idea is that
there will be a fe

myself with the complete spec, and personally I'm not really happy
with having the needs-packaging bugs on Launchpad like now, but I'll
focus about the announcement made at the start of this thread now),

Could you please explain the reasons why you object to setting those

How can this be determined? Priority "extra" is not always (although
very often) wrong.

Hi,
And here is the fourth REVU Day this cycle, this time with a working REVU :).
As usual, you can find some selected targets at

currently no unfixed problem and are awaiting to be reviewed:

Emmet Hickory has just informed me that the server where REVU is

I'll send a notification once it is back online. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi,
Nine hours ago sun rose up in Chatham Island [0], smiling warmly at a
new REVU Day, the third this cycle, which as usual has a duration of
50 hours.
Like last week, Charlie Smotherman has done an excellent job selecting
some candidates that should be easy to get ready for upload during

Hey,
I'm happy to announce that the second REVU Day this cycle has started
just a few hours ago. Remember that REVU Days last for 50 hours (since
the moment Friday starts somewhere on Earth until it has ended
everywhere; ie, from UTC+14 to UTC-12).
There is something new this time: Charlie Smothe
Hey,
There's currently a quite big list of packages in the "Needs review"
section of REVU, many of which date back from several months ago.
I'm pondering on running a script to move all those which don't have

Yeah, or perhaps just a new category would be enough (after all, there
aren't that many packaging requests, or?).

Hello,
Currently [0] requests for new packages are done on Launchpad and they
are not allowed on Brainstorm. However, I think that this situation is
not optimal as there's no good way to know how many people are
interested in a package * and so if someone wants to package one of

I've just started a voting on Ubuntu Forums to determine which weekday
REVU Days should be held. Please vote (and perhaps even leave a

Hi,
The current REVU Coordinator, Richard Johnson (nixternal), asked some
time ago for help as he hasn't enough time for the role anymore (as
you may have noticed as there has been no REVU Day since a while). As
until now nobody has stepped up for the position, after speaking about
it with Emmet H
