Technically, it is much easier to leave the windows bootloader alone and but
GRUB on / instead of in the MBR. It involved much less interpretation of
terminal outputs.

Yeah basically Elan the aim for Chapter 9 is to pretty much answer a lot of
the commonly asked questions that you find floating around the Absolute
Beginner forum on UF. These are things like "how do I enable flash" "I can't
play .wmv or .mp3s" etc etc

The aim for this section is to build the chapter around providing some
tips/solutions to common problems that new Ubuntu users often run into. We
are not talking mega-complex things here, it will be more like "why can't I
dual-boot anymore after reinstalling windows (ie restoring GRUB)",
I'm interested in helping get the manual done, and even in taking the lead
on chapter 9, but I don't know exactly what the dream is for this chapter.
The blueprint specification is devoid of information.
Can someone give me some pointers? Thanks
