But yes, I think it is very important that this piece of information
gets cleared out to a bigger extend and earlier in the book. As far as I
know, the project founder Benjamin Humphrey is working on the prologue,
and judging by

i quickly searched the manual and found no mention of Ubuntu being Debian-based
closest i found was this
"These are known as "debs" and are inherited from Ubuntu’s ascendant, Debian."
but that is way later in chapter 5
