"Menubar" as one word is really ugly. :-( I'm not sure that we should
be mangling English.
Are we perhaps looking in the wrong places? Surely there

I think now would be a good time to discuss the relationship between the
Ubuntu Manual and the Ubuntu Documentation. There's a lot of duplication
between the two - perhaps we can come up with a way of working together
th

guide. Edits/comments welcome. We can publicise it when we're happy that
it's useful.

I've started on the Mallard bits (the ubuntu-docs sample is complete).
I'm at GUADEC for the next week, but I'll hopefully have the Ubuntu

Hi guys,
Frustratingly, my Internet connection went down before the meeting, and
only just came back up. Does anyone have logs for the meeting that I can
review?
Thanks,

I agree. This is definitely something that we should test before moving
too far forwards.

In reference to comments in some of the bugs: including technical

The 10th would work for me.

As far as I'm aware, the Yelp help viewer inserts the correct alt tags
from the documentation.

It would be better to extend the existing infrastructure. Yelp is
capable of displaying web pages. Have you considered making some
modifications to help.ubuntu.com so that is can provide the "library of
files" that you're thinking of? We could the

I can work on improving doc team "outreach" over the summer, because
I'll actually have some free time over the next couple of month
think it was reckless to implement this project in the way
that you did.
In effect, you've created a competitor to the official system docs. I
think that this will only serve to confuse users, who already have to
contend with a fragmented Ubuntu "help ecosystem" as it is (system do
advertising for contributors or
discussing other documentation on the ubuntu-doc list either.)
Thanks,
