I have no rebuttal to what Alan wrote (I completely agree).
But as for only writing articles for each LTS, I don't think it'd
really be /that/ hard to update Ubuntu Manual every six months. The
updates between each version of Ubuntu, no matter how significant, are
usually sequential. Thus, so long
Alpha-2 is coming out today, so make sure to check that out.

I wouldn't mind being assigned this. I just heard about this project
and am looking at helping with layout, design and screenshots, but
those are all assigned to other people. I've worked at a number of
print shops before, so I'm sure I can help out here.
