i formated the partition and updated my grub. but no use... the problem
still remains the same...i cannot access that particular network
any more suggestions...

Were any updates applied before the wireless stopped working. You can chec
no.. i had run the update at the beginning i,e. when i installed ubuntu...
but after that i've not updated.
