Another different but related case is when a package is broken/frozen and
the user is not able to continue (phpbb2-conf-mysql, I'm looking at you!
data.
Or you could just set your laptop to power-down on critical battery. Or
just remember to turn it off.

First thank you to everyone here...I am new in this Ubuntu. Firstly
i have two requirements:
a. I need git to do linux kernel development.
"sudo apt-get install git-core"
b. I need flash for my firefox. So I downloaded the rpm file.
"sudo apt-get install flashplugin-
lem with _your_
hardware/setup; most people just do "alt+f2".
If you are _really_ perterbed by it, you can fix it by adding the run
paenl.
