Hmm.. i admit, i should've read the comments in the file i was editing.
But just a suggestion; you could have sudo keep a backup copy of the
last known good for /etc/sudoers.

On windows, one can shift-alt-tab to move back 1 spot in the list of
apps you're alt-tabbing through..

ok i got compizconfig setting manager installed, but can't find a

OMG, murphy's law in full effect; 20 seconds after i post this msg,
cairo-dock freezes again at using 1 core 100% all the time..

I had _exactly_ the same thing happen to me.
Must be some kinda cyberwar going on, coz for me, not only did my
mouse & keyboard stop working, even my teradisk crashed!
thankfully i have an offsite backup that i have now duplicated again
to a brandnew teradisk...
