In rsyslog 7.x the new mmnormalize module is available, that is if you
use the --enable-mmnormalize flag when you run the configure script, and
the default is that it is disabled. In your 7.x package for trusty it is
not enabled. The module is enabled in debian testing.
So the question is: Why
