Screen rotation doesn't rotate Touchscreen input

There is a handful of touchscreens by now that are supported by the Linux kernel natively. If you turn the touchscreen by 90 degrees and you rotate the screen via System -> Preferences -> Monitors, the coordinates of the mouse are rotated too. But the x and y coordinates from the touchscreen in
