first of let me congratulate on the Intrepid release, you made a great
work, as usual!
I would like to bring to your attention though that Intrepid seems to lack
the linux-image-debug package. This is needed in order to use the Systemtap
utility.

is this workaround valid with stock kernels?
Can other developers comment on this?
I would not consider compiling my own kernel to be a solution for me, I
firmly believe it is better to use the stock Ubuntu one.

that no one has looked at it yet:

Problem exists since Hardy, Gutsy IO bandwidth performance was *double*
(measured, not feels).
