Hey Craig,
Im getting the glade bug too but you can still right click it and edit
it and it should still work in the program. As for anjuta its a bug in
the IDE itself thats causing it. I wonder has it been updated

Since things evolve so fast in the open source world its hard to
document stuff in a stable way without the risk of obsolescence.

Hey Maciej,
We do know about the lack of a great Ubuntu specific IDE and
there were a few sessions that talked about it at the last UDS.
The issues are being looked at over the next few cycles.
On the lack of books we dont have any in shops but if you google
GTK+ programming you will get docs a

You have to remember that not everyone has broadband and not everyone
can download/upload that much. Checking hourly does add up to a lot of
network activity an

Hey Chris,
So in short its not worth the time to remove it really. I really dont
like open office in general but I suppose till something better comes
along we will have to put up with it and its quirks. I just thought
there was an easier way of splitting the office apart.

Hey all,
I forgot to mention this at the session for default app selection but
can we remove Open Office Draw from the default ubuntu install? The
reasons are quite obvious it just isnt any good and I dont think any of
the regular users actually use it.

Hey Ryan,
Awesome news, on the accessibility front you should ask theMuso about
it. He maintains that side of things.

Hey,
Install OpenJDK instead it works just fine for me. It has nearly all of
the Sun JDK libraries so it shouldnt be a problem.
