Hmm, I just realized that hwinfo was deprecated in 13.10 as it depends on HAL. You should still be able to check the available video modes at boot, once on GRUB: 1. press C 2. type vbeinfo an hit You should see all the available screen modes at boot. HTH. On Sat, Mar 29, 2014 at 11:51 PM, Martí
