HFS Plus Package

Hi, I am trying to use the HFS plus package for mounting an HFS plus partition. But it is giving me errors or my partition getting corrupted when I am mounting in write mode. I know that ubuntu has hfs plus driver now. I see a similar issue mentioned in the bug area but nobody has replied.
