Hi, I've just discovered an old blueprint on Launchpad[0] and the corresponding wiki page[1], that Ubuntu was planning to consolidate spelling libraries. Fedora developers have already completed the process, and have a really useful wiki page[2], that was already picked up by openSUSE[3] as well.
