I'm trying to rebuild the kernel packages from the source package
(linux-source-2.6.17_2.6.17.1.orig.tar.gz). I'm using this command:
golfbuf:~/Desktop/bld.linux/linux-source-2.6.17-2.6.17.1$
dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -uc -us
after about 4 hours, it fails with this message:
install -p-m
I am realized that my time is being eaten up by lots of other things
and thus I wanted to canvas for new admin(s) for -devel-discuss and
-users.
What does this require?

I have noticed that the mime-support package classifies troff files with
the mime type of "application/x-troff". I believe this is wrong since
troff is a text format, it should be "text/troff". This causes problems
because troff files served via an apache server can not be viewed by
clients b
Oh great ! I tested it ... it's very elementary comparing to its equivalent
in fedora but nice work :)
I'll wait for "real" final version :)
