feature parity* with Ubuntu Desktop,
especially in this regard. Many of our users don't have fast internet
connections, have metered internet connections, and a huge kernel
download is a big deal for them.
This needs to be fixed ASAP. I am furious about this. Delay the .2
release.

It can be done, but if it were to be done then the conversation about
bridging would be much more complicated, i.e. which channel does the
Matrix room get bridged to? etc.
Great topic, Robie! I'm glad someone is bringing it up!

pocket. I estimate one more snapshot prior to Beta freeze. The digikam team
estimates a beta release "in the coming weeks" so that might be a post-Beta
upload or an SRU, and then a final release would almost certainly be an SRU

properly, so I intend to get this into Ubuntu Studio (and discuss it further
with Kubuntu so they don't end up in this situation again).

Hi Lukasz,
I'm 100% certain Ubuntu Studio should also be affected as we weren't using
Calamares until 20.10.
Also, for some reason, the test cases for 20.04.2 weren't lining up with that
and had taken-on the Calamares workflow, which would be in error.
Sorry if this adds more work, but this is

Hello everyone,
I would like to profusely apologize for my previous email. I was
calling-out some nonexistent bad faith which was wrong on my part.
Steve, if you're reading this, I am so, so sorry. I know you have a lot
on your plate and have done a lot for Ubuntu in general. I also may be
unaware
my
frustration needs to be adequately expressed.
With that, I expect real solutions and responses, not lip service. Thank

that it takes a
little while to regenerate. Turns out the issue was that I had not
added the Ubuntu distro as being affected. This step isn't in the "New
