Are we going to get this through system update, symantic, as a deb
or just need to learn how to get the source code and do it the hard
way ? I hate being a noob !

This is not a duplicate of bug #194214 as Cruncher says.
In my case, i dont have to kill the xserver to get the keys
unstuck, after 30-50 repeats everything goes back to normal.
It only happens with key com

which is not the case. In my case, i dont have to kill

upgraded to hardy, 2.6.24.15-generic (see crunchers previous
post for a little how to i needed the xorg-fglrx driver) and did
not encounter the problem yet. The sleep problem is also solved!
I was not able reproduce this problem, it was happening randomly.
I dont think it's related with the cpu
I have ubuntu gutsy installed and I cannot install the deb files attached,
the package installer lists zillions of conflicts with the installed xserver*
packages.
