After latest upgrade, (probably second round of packages update after moving to
4.4), It is impossible to login.
Analysis:
Since KDM is up and running, I figure that there is no problem with th
taking back my last comment. It is probably an issue with kwin, not with
kdm.

Here is some more info.
I installed fvwm, so I'm now able to login into graphical environment
and launch all KDE apps.
however when trying to replace window manager, using
> kwin --replace >& /tmp/kwin.log
there is a crash and I get back to login screen.
Here is /tmp/kwin.log
could not access k
solved.
need to manually install kde-plasma-desktop package.
