AX/AC support in iwlwifi is left as-is for Disco generic kernel while
back ported to Bionic LTS linux-oem-osp1 kernel. You can install linux-
oem-osp1 kernel on Disco as well if you insist, or upgrade to just
released Eoan as recommended.
** Summary changed:
- Wifi not working
+ Intel(R) Dual
You may also want to install backport-iwlwifi dkms[1] on Disco instead.

I'm closing this as WONTFIX for Disco. Please don't hesitate to reopen
it if it is not working on Eoan/Focal, either.

iwlwifi firmware crashes intel 9260ac

Most people don't have the hardware you have, so usually it's on your
own. There are a few ways to try:
1. latest kernel from https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/
2. latest firmware from
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/tree/

Hi, could you try backport-iwlwifi dkms from
https://launchpad.net/~vicamo/+archive/ubuntu/backport-iwlwifi-dkms or
mainline kernel from https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ ?

If you mean:
iwlwifi :03:00.0: Direct firmware load for iwl-dbg-cfg.ini failed
with error -2
then it's an debug config that Intel developers may use, so it's fine to
live with that not-found error.
The next question is how can we get this fixed in Eoan/Disco/Bionic.
Since I do
Hi, first, it seems to be affected by bug 1846016 as well, so could you
install kernel from
https://launchpad.net/~vicamo/+archive/ubuntu/ppa-1846016 and attach
dmesg again. Thank you.
It also seems to be a duplicate of bug 1847643, which has a different
adapter so not really sure so far
