So far, I have replaced to ubuntu 9.04 x86_32 with virtualbox (2.2.2) 32bit
from 7.10.
Also, I have replaced to Gnome from KDE as the default Window Management of
OS already too.
So,The same issue does not occur now.

Get it.
Setting with Gnome as the default Window Management is the much better with
us for Ubuntu IMHO.

Unfortunately, The same issue still occur after re-installing the KDE4.1.2
and Virtualbox 2.0.4 on Ubuntu 7.10.
As I know, for updating with Ubuntu 7.10 was done now, but this just occur
on this U 7.10.
Also, this issue does not occur on U 8.04.

Also, the same issue did occur on i686 arch for Ubuntu 11.04.
PC:
Dell D755
Arch : i686
Steps to reproduce:
1 Install VirtualBox- 4.0.8 r71778
2 reboot PC, then change to root account (i.e su )
3 Start VirtualBox
4 Refer to the Error info from Terminal
Workaround:
1. Try to change to "root"
