Same beavior with the "alternate" version except that the i386 seems to works
well until the disk partion phase. I stop the installation there.
With the AMD64 version "alternate" downloaded at the same time and run on the
same computer the boot failled after :

Just adding a comment to say I just re-install the 6.06 as my system completly
hang on splash screen...
