I have the same problem on my iBook G4 12". I'm using the following
kernel:

Suspend/Resume used to be working on feisty, but after the upgrade it suspends
correctly, but hangs during
the resume. I can hear the iBook

thank you for your reply, I'm using modules-assistant:
sudo module-assistant -t prepare openafs
sudo module-assistant -t build openafs
Is this not the preferred way in Debian/Ubuntu to build kernel modules?
How should I build them?

after googeling a bit I found this thread:

in which removing the package "python-gnome2-extras" is suggested. And
indeed, after I did "apt-get remove python-gnome2-extras" exaile started
without problems...
