I installed the gsmartcontrol and when you start the program closes. Then I
started the program with the option:
sudo gsmartcontrol --no-scan
The program is not closed, but as soon as I start to scan drives (Ctrl + R),
then the program closes

I confirm this. On Ubuntu 15.10 Udev not applying usb-modeswitch rules and
modem start as CD-Rom.
But on Ubuntu 15.04 this modem working fine and automatic switch to Modem mode.
This regress udev or usb-modeswitch.

massive memory leak in unity-panel-service and hud-service when
invoking the hud on Firefox profiles with large
Modem can function HiLink, but in the firmware MTS (Russian operator) was no
such possibility.
I flashed modem on the universal firmware and installed WebUI.
Now the device has other PID and VID:

Connects and works fine automaticall
Liferea, Geary, Qutim, Venom and other necessary and good programs do not
working as they should on Ubuntu 14.04.
Why do you deprive users habits and why you trim features? Why?
Everything worked fine before, why should all break???
