Hi, Florian. You're right, the problem is still alive!
Kubuntu 9.04 doesn't do the bug because this version doesn't install
pulseaudio, but when you install totem (for example) pulseaudio is installed,
and when your are listening a song with a KDE app, GTK+ apps can't play any
audio.

The patch doesn't fix the bug. Go to "Third-Party software", and write a
description with non standard characters.
For example, the "ó" of "Código fuente" (source code) doesn't appear, a rare
character appears instead of it.

I still have this bug in Hardy. Single Keystrokes appear delayed on screen and
they are sometimes displayed repeated. This Problem occures not at startup, but
when the system runs for about one or two hours.
I`m not sure if it`s the same problem described in this bug but it seems very

Mount points doesn't show in any site.

- "Computer" tab of Kickoff.
- "Places" sidebar of Dolphin.
- "media:/" KIO slave (it isn't at Kubuntu 8.10).
If you have more than "/" and "/home" mountpoints (an example, if you
have more than one harddisk) you can go to
But... other System Settings apps are launched in admin mode, and they
are integrated into System Settings: Like GRUB Editor, for example.
I think that "root mode" button is better than open in a new window the
apps, or colorize the decoration of root windows with a different colour
instead.

1.) Change appearance from your user (in expample: the colors and style, at
System Settings).
2.) Run Adept (or at Konsole: $ kdesudo adept).
"kdesudo" doesn't sh
OK. In Dolphin I don't see any option for that, but MountManager works good.
Is it possible to include at default installation in Kubuntu 9.04 and include
it into System Settings?
