. Among other problems the Grub2 loader thinks that all my partitions should be renamed, "msdos1, msdos2, etc. I have tried everything proposed and realize that the only way to fix this is to remove ALL ofGRUB including the service files. If a fix is not forthcoming UBUNTU looses big time.
